Some of my final images

During this project I have found it quite difficult to take photographs and also relate those photographs to a project of interest. While doing this project I have learnt quite alot about the type of attitude youe need to have towards your work. Hopefully through practise in the future I will be better equiped and ready for the issues and demands of future projects like this. Hope you like the photos.

While taking shots for this project, I have thought about including an element of environmentalism in the photographs I take, however the photographs I have been taking and the things I am drawn to, have been things that include formalism and aesthetic value, rather than a deeper environmentalist meaning. For the shots that I want to work, I will have to look harder for elements that I want included in my photographs.

Inspired Example (Ansel Adams)

After doing some research into this man, I have come realise the great things he has done and the passion he had for what he was doing and the remarkable reasons and belief in what he was doing. I find his work and drive behind it quite simular to my own views although they are not as attached to just america, and I feel that the conservation ideas he tried to bring across in his work was very valid and has possibly more relevance to todays world with the environmental issues that we are all being made aware of in recent years. Ansel Adams is a photographer I am very interested in following the example of, however as for this project I do not yet, quite know whether I will include these issues or simply do as well with landscape photography as I can.

I have began looking at landscape photography as that it where alot of my passion for photography comes from, and also some photographers such as Fay Godwin, Ansell Adams, Joe Cornish, Minor White, William Eggleston, etc.
While looking at these photographs I am tempted to do a landscape project as it is something I have not pursued yet, though I will need to find a fitting place for my photographs to be taken in, thinking of the lakes, though I may need to go somewhere closer to home for convenience.
